Company Description:
Qualitech Systems, Inc., established in 1988, rapidly became the industry leader in the manufacturing of microbial formulas for waste water treatment, odor control and stain removal. Our target markets are the grease traps, sewage ejector pits and trash compactors within the City of New York. Clients are private schools, colleges, universities and business and industry accounts, especially large commercial kitchens. Our mission is to remove harsh, dangerous and toxic chemicals from our clients environments while bio-remediating their organic wastes through our selectively enhanced microbes. Our premium product eliminates the foul odors and down time associated with manual grease trap or ejector pit cleaning, a disgusting task. Sales Representative Description:
The Sales Representative is an independent contractor that works solely on a commission basis with an income potential of $30-100k per year. We expect our sales representatives to generate and to qualify their own leads. Sales Representative will call prospective clients, perform on-site surveys, write a detailed proposal, present the finished proposal to the client and obtain a written purchase order or signed acceptance of the proposal. The representative will also obtain the pertinent shipping, credit and billing information and will collect any invoices that are past due per our terms. Once a month, the representative will visit each account making sure that all product containers are on-line and in use. Should a representative find that a container is not full or on-line, the representative is expected to obtain a container from the client and place such container into service. Representatives are also responsible for checking product inventory and performing quarterly grease trap and or ejector pit inspections. Written inspection reports will be issued by the representative and submitted to our headquarters.
Sales representative will use their own computer, printer, telephones, desk, paper, postage, or other supplies to perform their function, and are responsible for their own travel and entertainment expenses.
Applicant Qualification Requirements:
• Must have personal computer with Microsoft Office, high-speed Internet connection, and a laser printer at their disposal.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Dress in professional business attire for all meetings with potential clients.
-Education in Biology / Environmental Sciences with a minor in sales & marketing.
-4 years sales and or marketing experience to commercial / industrial accounts with an emphasis on facility managers, executive chefs and food service directors and waste water treatment plants.
